Waiting on Wednesday!

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill (Breaking the Spine) so us bloggers can tell our readers what book we’re most looking forward to reading! For me, that would be Caraval by Stephanie Garber which will be available on 31st of January, 2017.

Caraval is about a young girl named Scarlett and her lifelong wish to go and see the Caraval, where audience members get to participate in the show. After her father tells her that he has arranged a marriage for her, she realises her chance of seeing the Caraval is never going to happen; however, she gets an invitation to go to the Caraval, so her and her sister head off with the help of a mysterious sailor who helps them sneak off. Once they arrive, Tella. Scarlett’s sister is kidnapped by the brain behind Caraval, Legend and is assured that everything that happens there is part of the performance but Scarlett knows better and soon becomes tangled up in a game of love, heartbreak and magic with Legend, her sister, and the other players. Scarlett must find her sister before the five nights of Caraval are over, or Tella will disappear forever.

How good does that sound? I am so excited to read this book! According to good reads, it’s going to be a series which is even better! There are some really interesting and good books coming out early next year, including a Phantom inspired novel (more on that next Wednesday!). I also love that there are hardbacks in the UK that have different covers when you take off the dust jacket! I think that’s really unique not to mention they’re really pretty!

Having different covers is such a cool idea! It makes each book kind of more unique and intriguing because we don’t know what they mean!!
